Responsible play
Every resort we review has a casino. If you choose to play, keep it a small, planned and affordable part of the trip.

Every casino game has a built-in house edge, so over time the casino wins. Treat any money you play with as the cost of entertainment, not a way to make money. No system or strategy changes this.
Set limits first
Decide a spending limit and a time limit before you begin. Use only money set aside for entertainment, leave cards at the hotel, and never borrow to play.
Know when to stop
Do not chase losses. Take regular breaks, avoid playing when upset, tired or after drinking, and leave when it stops being enjoyable.
Age and local law
Casino gambling is restricted to adults aged 21 and over in Nevada, Macao and Singapore, and to adults in The Bahamas, where residents may not gamble. Casinos check identification. Follow the laws of the jurisdiction you are visiting.
Self-exclusion
Most regulated casinos let you exclude yourself. In Singapore, the National Council on Problem Gambling runs national exclusion and visit-limit schemes; in Macao, the DICJ processes self-exclusion; in Nevada, ask each casino’s responsible-gaming team.
Getting support
If gambling is causing stress, secrecy, financial harm or relationship strain, pause and seek confidential support. In the US, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER. In Singapore, call the NCPG helpline on 1800-6-668-668. In Great Britain, contact the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
