Triphonia Hotel Edit is a small editorial publication devoted to casino resorts. We assess their hotels and their casino floors in detail, publish plainly, and earn nothing from your decision—at the front desk or at the tables.

frustration.
The Edit began in 2019 as a private document passed between a handful of travel writers who were tired of review sites where the highest bidder came first. The premise was simple: assess great hotels the way a demanding guest actually experiences them, and write it down honestly.
Seven years later the method has not changed, only the rigour behind it. We work from a fixed assessment framework, compare properties only against genuine peers, and revisit our conclusions on a schedule rather than when a press release lands. Every entry is written by a named editor and reviewed by a second before publication.
Because every property in the edit is a casino resort, we review the casino too. Our casino editors have spent years on the floors of Las Vegas, Macao and Singapore. They read the table placards, compare payouts and minimums, and check how clearly each property explains age limits, self-exclusion and support.
We remain deliberately small. A short list of properties, examined properly, is more useful than a directory of thousands nobody has slept in.
How we assess
Each stay is judged across rooms, service, dining, wellness, design and entertainment using the same weighted framework. Each casino is rated separately on games and rooms, table standards, floor comfort and player care. We look for consistency, not a single impressive moment.
How we stay independent
We accept no payment, commission or advertising from the properties or gambling operators we cover. There are no booking links, betting links or casino offers on this site, so nothing we publish is influenced by what you go on to do.
How we write
Reviews name the weaknesses as well as the strengths, because a recommendation without caveats is not useful. Where a property suits one traveller and not another, we say exactly who it is for.
How we correct
Hotels change. When a renovation, ownership change or restaurant closure affects a review, we revise the entry and update its date. Readers are welcome to send corrections directly.

No. Placement is never for sale, and we accept no payment, commission or advertising from the properties we assess. If a property offers a media rate or hosted night, we disclose it and it has no bearing on the score.

Every resort receives two separate scores. The hotel score is built from a weighted framework covering rooms and comfort, service, dining, wellness and leisure, design and location, and entertainment. The casino score is the average of four ratings: games and rooms, table standards, floor comfort and player care. The two are never combined.
Every resort in this edit is a casino resort, and for many guests the gaming floor is part of the stay. We assess it as seriously as the spa or the restaurants: the games and limits on offer, the rules at the tables, the comfort of the floor and how well the property protects its players. A casino score describes quality, not a recommendation to gamble.
No. We do not operate, promote or link to gambling of any kind, online or in person, and we publish no bonuses or offers. Casino gambling at these resorts is for adults only—21 and over in Nevada, Macao and Singapore—and it always carries a risk of losing money.
We re-examine the full ranking twice a year and revise individual entries whenever a property completes a renovation, changes ownership or materially alters its restaurant and spa offering. Each page carries its last-updated date.
